Dick has years of experience in cheese making. He’s been doing it since the age of 15!
The farmhouse cheese has a soft, full mature flavour and is not too salty. The cheeses are salted and matured in the cellar under the cheese making facility. The milk is transported directly from the cow to the cheese vat in the morning, where the cheese is made without cooling or heating.
Cheese Valley, a unique area in the middle of the Groene Hart region. It is made up of four municipalities with special stories and experiences and, above all, it’s the heart and origin of real cheese, Holland’s yellow gold. Listen to the story.
